Hertfordshire Police and Crime Commissioner.
Commissioner's Office: 01707 806100

The Commissioner’s Community Fund (CCF) provides support to innovative local schemes which aim to make our communities safer and reduce crime.

The CCF is there to help individuals, communities and businesses to get together and generate ideas that will contribute to the aims and objectives of the Commissioner’s Police and Crime Plan for Hertfordshire. CCF proposals can cover a range of activities and can include but are not limited to practical work, research projects, equipment and materials, and awareness raising or training.

The Commissioner is particularly keen to support projects that show a strong partnership ethos and will be working with partner organisations to ensure that support is targeted to work that compliments rather than duplicates existing activity.

Some £500,000 has been allocated to projects in the first two years under the scheme.

In 2014, the Commissioner also made funding available from the Ministry of Justice Victims Fund to support the delivery of local services to help victims of crime cope and recover from their ordeal. The application process for individual grants runs at the same time as the CCF and prior to 2015/16 £90,000 has been allocated to victims’ services in Hertfordshire by the Commissioner.

The CCF and victims fund is now closed to applications and the scheme is under review. No bids can be accepted or considered until further notice.

The previous round of bidding has now closed and no further bids can be considered. The CCF scheme is under review and details on how to apply for any future funding will be posted here in due course.
