Salary: Grade A5 £30,180 - £38,538 per annum plus Local Government Pension Scheme

The role
The office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Hertfordshire is looking for a permanent post to assist in the managing and development of a range of funds and grants across the areas of community safety and criminal justice.

The successful post holder will be responsible for assessing new applications, monitoring the operation of the funds and grants with partner agencies, recommending approval of funding and ensuring that the grants and funds deliver successful outputs/outcomes in support of the PCC’s Community Safety and Criminal Justice Plan (2017- 2022).

The work demands a wide range of skills and a high degree of flexibility; the ability to manage your own workload within agreed targets; maintain relationships with a range of partners and stakeholders; and be responsive to new developments. The successful candidate will have an eye for detail; good administrative and office based skills, and be able to communicate confidently with the ability to be accommodating and positive whilst maintaining strong and consistent boundaries with regards to grant making.
