The role
The office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Hertfordshire is seeking someone to undertake a full range of administrative duties, which will enable the smooth operation of the PCC’s Road Safety Fund.
 
The successful post holder will be responsible for providing business support for the Road Safety Fund, developing and managing relationships with Hertfordshire County Council and Herts Road Safety Partnership; and will provide relevant and timely information about bids and progress to members of the public, partners, individuals and teams as appropriate.
 
The work demands a wide range of administrative skills, including an understanding and awareness of potential issues arising from complex projects; and a strong ability to confidently articulate issues and solutions to relevant stakeholders through various means of communication. The successful candidate will have a high degree of competency in the use of Microsoft Excel, with the ability to initiate and develop spread sheets and databases. The post holder will have good written skills, with the ability to write reports and make recommendations; including to partners outside of the OPCC.
