Commissioner advertises for Deputy
Hertfordshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner, David Lloyd, is publicly advertising for candidates to join his team as his Deputy.
The role of Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner will be high profile and will support and share all aspects of the Commissioner’s work.  There will be regular contact with the public, senior police officers, executives and politicians, external stakeholders, community partners and national bodies.
Commissioner Lloyd commented: “Being Police and Crime Commissioner is an honour and a pleasure, but also a really substantial role.  With a county of more than a million residents to represent, a budget of more than £200m to manage prudently and an ambitious plan in place, I am looking for an exceptional candidate to help me deliver for Hertfordshire.”
He added: “I shared my plans to appoint a Deputy with the county’s Police and Crime Panel last week and they confirmed their support for the approach, commending the decision to publicly advertise.”
